A very speculative industry at the best of times, our mining portfolio centred in both Australia and various African nations, has seen some volatile movements since our initial investment. From quadrupling our investment in the space of a few weeks to going below our initial investment value a year later, our portfolio value has stabilised at roughly double our initial purchase. This is mostly due to some innovative problem solving with our African division but we still see value in maintaining a modest interest in this area.
